Frequently Asked Questions About Impressionist Oil Reproductions

How are your oil reproductions made?
All oil reproductions are hand-painted by a professional and talented artist. We use a team of artists who specialize in Impressionist art and have perfected their expertise through years of study and practice. Each picture is painstakingly painted using only the highest quality oils to attain the closest match of colors and elements of the original.
Can I see the actual brushstrokes?
Yes. Your painting is hand-painted by a real artist using real oils. There is NO machinery involved – your painting is NOT a giclee print or any other kind of print on canvas. You can enjoy the rich texture of oils and see, touch, feel and even smell the brush strokes!
Who paints the oil reproductions?
Each Impressionist reproduction is painted by the hand of one of our hand-picked highly skilled professional artists. Each artist is an expert in the technique and history of picture they are reproducing. Whether it is Monet, Renoir or Degas they are reproducing, they know the techniques, types of brushes, mixing of colors, shades used allowing them to reproduce each painting with the same exact detail to the original artist’s unique style of painting.
How close are oil painting reproductions to the originals?
I make a point to personally visit museums where the original Impressionist artworks are displayed. Seeing the originals in the “flesh” ensures all oil painting reproductions are reproduced as close as possible.
Every painting is painstakingly reproduced by hand in a style identical to the original down to the smallest detail by an artist who is as passionate about Impressionist art as we are. Every painting is then inspected and approved by me personally before it is sent to you. And of course, you can inspect it before you decide to keep it. Every reproduction is covered by our no-nonsense 365 day money back guarantee.
How long will my painting take?
Your painting will arrive in approximately 60 days. Our artists take approximately three to five weeks to paint the reproduction depending on the complexity of the masterpiece and need at least one week to allow the painting to dry thoroughly. Because we do not carry any stock, we commission each painting individually so your Impressionist copy will be an original hand-painted fine art oil reproduction that was painted exclusively for you.
Do you offer lower priced paintings?
The oil reproductions we offer vary in price according to size and complexity of the painting. But every reproduction is painted to Museum/Collectors quality and some of our commissions are of the more expensive Premium quality, ensuring complete accuracy of the original. Out of respect to the original artists, we will not offer lower quality paintings. It is my belief that you get what you pay for in life and I am not prepared to compromise on the quality by offering cheap paintings. These beautiful Impressionist paintings make a stunning tribute to the original artist and offer fantastic value for money. I am very proud of the artists we use and their skill and dedication.
Do you offer a money back guarantee on Impressionist reproductions?
Absolutely! Every Impressionist reproduction comes with a full 12 month, 365 day money back guarantee. You can return the painting for ANY reason. Of course your painting is fully guaranteed against any material defects but it is also guaranteed against any reason you can think of.
Any reason.
If for example, your painting does not meet your high expectations or you decide that having a Monet or Renoir on your wall brings you no joy, simply send it back. We won’t ask you any questions and there will be no forms to fill in. There are no hidden charges like re-stocking fees and other nonsense. If you’re not delighted with your Impressionist art for any reason, simply send it back for a full 100% prompt and courteous refund.
Where can I get my painting framed?
Your oil painting will arrive as the canvas. This will then need to be stretched by a frame shop and if required, put into a suitable frame. Due to high postage costs, we send the paintings unframed allowing you to save cost by using a local frame shop. A framer will also be able to advise you on the best style of frame for your particular painting and to match your decoration. Of course, you may simply chose to hang your painting in the stretcher and not frame it, as some Impressionist works look better with no frame. Monet for instance, painted his masterpieces with the intention of not using frames. The choice is up to you.
How are the oil reproductions sent?
Your painting will arrive un-stretched, rolled and in a sturdy tube. Delivery is by registered, insured courier to an address of your choice.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is now FREE! We pay for all shipping to all worldwide destinations and for any number of oil reproductions ordered. We cover all packaging costs, delivery, tracking and insurance.
